Brookes Academy of Dance was established in 2005 in the small village of Claverley, Shropshire, under the direction of Miss Rebecca Brookes. It has since expanded and is now situated at Bridgnorth Community Hall, as well as branches situated in Claverley, Bobbington and Hagley.
Students are encouraged to learn and be creative through expression of movement and this is developed through every subject. The school offers lessons in Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics and Modern/Jazz. Lessons are structured to work towards examinations and our Annual Showcase, which usually takes place towards the end of October.
The school is affiliated to the syllabus of the Association of American Dancing and as well as examinations they present many more opportunities through out the year with competitions and an Annual Gala at The Opera House in Blackpool.
